Ms. Harris has over seven years of industry experience working on Department of Defense (DoD) contracts in the technology-consulting arena. She has held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility that required a Top Secret clearance. She was the team lead on a project in Europe where she had a reputation for efficiency and effectiveness. Ms. Harris has a strong desire to support business units within the government and brings more than 15 years of technical, customer service, and business operations experience to the industry.
Her current cyber security initiatives involve working with the Department of Homeland Security Secret Service division. Additionally, she implemented standard systems management processes into the cloud including change, incident, and problem management. She established and implemented a monitoring and management infrastructure for both availability and performance management.
Ms. Harris has a high-level understanding of application and hardware architecture so as to efficaciously apply the principles of information assurance to various information systems. Ms. Harris has experience working with a wide variety of technologies and is well versed in the current state of Information Security.
Jaunese holds a degree from Virginia State University (HBCU) (BS) in Information Systems and Decision Sciences and George Washington University (MS) in Information Systems Technology. Jaunese has a Certificate in Computer Security and Information Assurance and is a certified information systems security officer (C|ISSO) and holds an ITIL certification. She is the CEO of JLH Partners, LLC that was birthed out of her desire to help more commercial clients build their cybersecurity footprint.
Ms. Harris is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. where she strives to enhance the standards and information technology of the organization.
